You’re in for a LONG wait

27 January 2014, 11:05

We have all become used to the corrupt, greedy, and useless ANC politicians who “rule” (ruin) this country. Will the mindless masses vote for them again?

Yes. I think they will – whether I like it or not.

From the beleaguered embarrassment, who, as president, holds the highest office in this country, to the lowest corrupt mayor in Mpumalanga, I have yet to see ONE ANC official making a success of his/her/its job. How on Earth are these incompetent individuals selected for these extremely highly paid posts?

What has always fascinated me is the audacity that these bungling charlatans have when they accept a position of authority, power, or as head of a department.

If anyone offered me the job as Executive Mayor of Tshwane, or National Police Commissioner, or Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, I would refuse on the grounds that I have no experience or expertise in these fields. (Although I would LOVE the salary!) But not these guys with the “impeccable struggle credentials!” They simply accept the position – make a BIG stuff-up of the job – get a golden handshake; and are then “redeployed” to another department – where they repeat the damage – costing the country billions.

And you know what is truly amazing?

I cannot think of a single member of parliament, mayor, or any other ANC official, who, when held up to the light, doesn’t have a whole graveyard of skeletons ducking and diving for cover, when you open their closet doors. Can you name one?

ANC officials fall into three categories (or “kuh taggeries,” as some would say): those who have stuffed up and have been redeployed; those who have stuffed up and are waiting for their “day in court,” and those incompetent officials, who have made empty promises, and are now living in fear of their mindless voters who are about to burn their houses to the ground.

And then there is the “president” who is in a kuh taggery all of his own – stealing millions of taxpayer’s money and living in luxury; while the people staying right next to his Nkandla palace, don’t even have water.

My question is this: Have these ANC officials and public servants no shame?

How do they justify their lack of performance when people have died during the struggle to be free from a government who do not have their best interests at heart? How dare they ignore the plight of the poor, the unemployed, the destitute, the frail, and the old?

How do they sleep at night?

These pee pull (the leaders of the ANC) are supposed to be the best they’ve got. Their A-Team. The very best team they can field. The team that is supposed to “create a better life for all.”

How many more municipalities have to fail? How many more rotten top-cops will still be appointed? How far must the country’s infrastructure collapse? How many people must kick the bucket from drinking contaminated water? How many more innocent people must be shot and killed by corrupt cops? How many more babies must die in our hospitals because of incompetent management? How many times must a cannon ball fly? (Sorry, wrong song!)

Well, let me tell you something: If you are waiting for the current bunch of “leedas” to turn this country into the Promised Land, you will indeed have to wait until Jesus returns. Or longer. Much longer.
