Zuma once again 'applying his mind'

03 April 2014, 10:37

With a written response stating only that he would give a “full and proper” response to the Public Protector’s report on the Nkandla debacle once the SIU’s report has been received, after the election, naturally, once again our great breeder is taking us all for fools. Should be ‘our great leader’ – really? Most certainly does not merit that name.

Another item which was not asked for, as has been pointed out on various social media platforms since Zuma’s  ‘foot in mouth moment’ that he did not ask for the upgrades to Nkandla, is the e-toll system, naturally. Why should the same argument not apply here? But I digress.

It has been stated that motorists owe more than half a billion rand in unpaid bills, and it has cost SANRAL more to chase non-payers than the amount earned towards repaying the staggering amount of the debt.

If 1.5 million motorists have produced a bill for R543 million in not quite four months, a figure which is twice the amount spent on Nkandla, then truly the astronmical amount paid for one man’s house is more than obscene.

Surely, surely, somebody has the sheer chutzpa (can’t use the ‘b’ word – would be removed I’m sure) to stand up to this joke of a President and say so. He has to be removed. Our country cannot continue as it is, we all deserve so much better.
