Guptagate's culprits must be charged

15 June 2017, 16:41

Of course they are innocent until proven guilty but with the Guptagate emails confirming what most honest, intelligent people always suspected, why haven't any charges been brought against the Guptas and the various members of their pack of corrupt and subservient lapdogs?

There's no smoke without fire and with the number of palms Guptas have greased, we could run all our power stations on the drippings. When are the Gupta Gangsters and their named lieutenants such as Gigaba, Ngubane, Zuma, and the rest, going to be rounded up and charged with treason for bringing this once-great nation to its now-bony knees? We all know that as soon as any senior police officer in the employ of the Guptas hears charges or arrests are imminent, the Boorish Brothers will be on their private jet to their R445-million mansion in Dubai quicker than sweat drips off a greased palm.

Why have they not been charged, their passports confiscated and travel bans imposed on every last one of them while their corruption charges are investigated? Why is the country allowing them to continue with their rapacious criminal gluttony while the vast majority of citizens continue to suffer even more as a direct result of the Gupta Gang's pillaging of our country?

What is wrong with us, what is wrong with our leaders (do we have ANY honest leaders) that we are aiding and abetting these despicable thugs and letting them get away with reducing our country, our future and our dreams to toxic ashes? Why is everyone who can, and should, do something about this sitting on their hands twiddling their thumbs?
