Why is Dlamini-Zuma so quiet on the Guptas?

27 September 2017, 13:03

We do really want to critique Dlamini-Zuma’s own credibility as a leader and not base our critique on the fact that she is the former wife of the outgoing president of the ANC, however she is making it difficult herself for the members of the ANC to see her as a credible leader.

The scandal ridden president Zuma is the chief lobbyist of NDZ, his former wife, this he does under the pretence of wanting a female leader, however there always have been great women leaders in the ANC and still it raises the alarm when the outgoing president only sees the need for a female leader when his own former wife is raised by a faction in the women’s league that is close to him.

This is a man who was linked to the corrupt Schabir Shaik who was found guilty by a court of law only to be given a parole by his president friend on the basis of being sick whereas he is healthier than the country’s whole health system. He then moved on to the other controversial family the Guptas, a family that has created a deadly network within the ANC led government.

We note the deafening silence of Dlamini-Zuma on this predatory family. The Guptas are in business with Zuma and his family. Another vocal lobbyist of NDZ is Jimmy Manyi who is helping the Guptas milk our coffers, is it a coincidence that all those who are in the NDZ camp have been linked to this family, we have seen scary emails that tell us to what extend this family has captured and tainted our state and yet Dlamini-Zuma is conveniently quiet about this family that seeks to monopolise our economy.

Members of the ANC would be naive to think NDZ will just surround herself with tainted crew and remain untainted herself. The branches of the ANC must be like Thomas in the Bible and not just believe but want to see; and clearly the signs are there that NDZ is the queen of the Gupta network, how sad that a leader like herself could allow her good name to be tainted by the corrupt network that seeks to further marginalise the poor and motive forces of the liberation movement.

The ANC still remains the hope of the poor and peace loving South Africans, however the recent cabinet and some senior leaders have made it their business to collapse this great movement and our people have begun to punish us through the ballot. However many people still believe in this glorious movement.

Instead of voting for others they prefer not to vote at all, branches of the ANC must restore the image of the ANC and retain it back to be the leader of society and this cannot happen when members of the ANC keep on giving society dodging leaders who are linked to corrupt, selfish individuals, unfortunately NDZ will never rescue us in this mess she has put her hand in that ugly cookie jar of the corrupt Gupta network.
