Wonderful prospects for the new South Africa

People must stop criticising the ANC Government with only negative things to say. There are so many positive things going on in South Africa, yet so many people continue to only consider the negative.

Firstly, the country was able to change to a new Government which has all of its citizens interests at heart, through a calm and peaceful, fair and just, Democratic elections. Our fist 2 Presidents Mandela and Mbeki, were both highly intelligent persons of high integrity and honesty, and I believe they governed our country fairly. Zuma was the populist choice of SA citizens to become the third President of SA. Even at this stage of his presidency he seems to have the support of the over whelming majority in this country. This is shown by the fact that he has become a Teflon President, and no matter what tricks and manipulations he gets up to, the vast majority in the country absolutely, love, admire and adore the man. If they had their way, they would want him to be President for life, just like Mugabe to our North. We live in a Democracy, and if this is what the people want, what right do we have to be so critical of this man. Leave the people in their great state of joy and elation, at all the wonderful things they believe the President has done for them during his time at the helm.  Why expect western moral values and how business is carried out to apply. Here in SA, things are done the African way. This is after all Africa, not Switzerland. It is mostly the whites that keep complaining about things. The black majority population sees absolutely nothing wrong with the way this country is governed. They are happy with how the Parastatels, Local and Provincial Governments and Municipalities operate. They show this faith by how they vote at election time. They are not interested in any radical change, and want the status quo to continue as is.

We after all live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, in my opinion. Wherever you go in this country, your spirits can only be lifted. From the beautiful mountains and beaches of Cape Town to the magnificent Drakensburg, and heavily forested, mist covered Eastern Transvaal Highveld.

As far as the people of this country go, what more could we want. Apart from the tensions and polarisation generated only by the politicians for their own gain (Divide and Rule), the general population gets on with each other in handsome fashion. I personally have never seen any white man or black man, have a serious go at each other because of race. They accept each other as complete equals, and go out of their way to help each other negotiate the forests of life.  Believe me, it is only the evil politicians that try to create tensions between the races.

Our country in actual fact has a very bright future. The blacks are fighting and winning, to achieve more affordable tertiary education. Eventually this country will end up with a plethora of educated black talent, to drive our economy forward, at a frightening pace.

Our judicial system works, we have a free press, a wonderful, best in the world Constitution, and our Press is free. We must be very grateful for these huge benefits. The blacks want all our farmland without compensation. Give it to them. Let the farmers flock into the cities and make a new life for themselves. With their resilience I am sure it will not be so difficult for them to establish a new, happy and productive life. They will have no money but the clothes on their back to start off with, but that is what so many immigrant Americans had to face. Through guts, determination and sheer will power, they rose above it all, and look what America is today.

So come on people, laugh, joke, sing, and dance in the street. Be truly happy for what this glorious country offers us all. Get rid of all negativity and live life to the full. Remember this is not a dress rehearsal. You only get the chance to live once.
