Vaal University Of Technology(main campus) have embarked in a strike this morning due to NSFAS not giving them allowance for food. Some for money to buy books. school was disrupted,gate to the campus where locked,making it impossible to continue on school as normal. Lecturers where waiting outside the campus as no car nor person was allowed to enter the premises. (News24 user)

Strike at VUT, semester students are not given money for food by NSFAS since the beginning of the 2nd semester 2014. only the year students are loaded with money for food, which is not fair. (Musa Manuyangwa, News24 user)
