I snapped this fire tornado spiralling above Buitenverwachting yesterday late afternoon. It was over 150m in height. It re-occurred for periods of 3-5 seconds over a 5 minute period. They get to 1000 degrees Celsius inside. They form over raging fires such as this one. Very focussed and destructive. Regards - Rens
