Taylor counterattacks Liberia: Life goes on New front setback for Taylor

Abuja - Nigeria will not send peacekeeping troops to Liberia until it receives a solid guarantee that its costs will be covered by the international community, a senior official told AFP on Tuesday.

"Nigeria is somewhat reluctant to send in troops without firm guarantees that the expenditure that will be incurred will at least in a substantial part be defrayed by other states and international organisations," a senior aide to President Olusegun Obasanjo told AFP.
