Nairobi - A Canadian delegate attending the Somali peace talks was found dead near his hotel on Thursday, said a spokesperson with the peace talks.
Police are investigating the death of Ahmed Rashid Sheikh Mohammed, who was originally from the southern Somali town of Baidoa.
The delegate, who was in his 30s, was found in the early morning hours shortly after a Ramadan celebration. There was a slight injury to his chin.
This is the second death of a delegate to the Somali talks in as many weeks. At the end of October, Sheikh Ibrahim Ali, a member of Somalia's transitional parliament, was gunned down. - Sapa-dpa
