Darfur rebels refuse to sign

Abuja - Two anti-Khartoum rebel movements have decided not to sign an African Union-brokered peace accord for the war-torn western Sudanese region of Darfur, said a spokesperson on Sunday.
The Sudanese Liberation Movement and the Justice and Equality Movement made separate statements registering their refusal to sign the agreement.
The groups met just hours before a deadline set by the AU and the United Nations to complete peace negotiations.
