Tsunami alert after huge quake

Kenyan floods displace 20 000

Nairobi - The Kenyan government is asking all people to evacuate from beach areas and has issued a tsunami warning following an earthquake in the Indian Ocean.

A statement on the government's website said "a massive tsunami is expected to hit the Kenyan coast at 23:39 tonight".
