Paris - Libyan leader Muammar Gadaffi denied on Tuesday that he had discussed human rights during talks with President Nicolas Sarkozy, in an interview with French public television.

"First of all, President Sarkozy and I, we did not discuss these questions," the visiting Libyan leader told France 2 television when asked to comment on Sarkozy's claim he had asked him for "progress on human rights".
