Addis Ababa - African leaders "strongly condemned" ongoing rebel attacks against the Chadian government Saturday, according to the final declaration of an African Union summit in Addis Ababa.

Chadian rebels seized the capital, N'Djamena after three hours of fighting Saturday, a military source there said.
