Windhoek - Namibia and Liberia on Monday inked co-operation accords on mining, trade and food production on the second of the three-day state visit of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf to the southern African nation.
"We look forward to promoting bilateral trade and to learn from Namibian expertise regarding local diamond cutting and polishing and to guard our marine fish resources," she said on the occasion also witnessed by her host, President Hifikepunye Pohamba.
Pohamba said his country wanted a market for its meat products in Liberia.
"We wish to explore new markets for our beef, mutton and processed meat products. Liberia could be a viable market," he said.
Johnson-Sirleaf, Africa's first elected woman president, was scheduled to address the Namibian parliament before leaving the country on Tuesday.
