5 abducted in Niger delta

Port Harcourt, Nigeria - Security sources say five crew members have been abducted from a Swedish boat in Nigeria's oil-producing Niger delta region.
The sources say the gunmen boarded the Herkules ship on Thursday and are still holding five crew members, who are Russian and Ukrainian.
The sources say the other seven crew members aboard the Herkules were released on Friday.
The two sources spoke on condition of anonymity since they were not authorised to speak to the media.
Kidnappings are common in this West African country's delta. They have mostly ended peacefully after ransom payments.
