Johannesburg - The mother of Sheldean Human, 7, has been treated for shock at a Tshwane hospital after hearing about the death of her daughter.

Sheldean's body was found in Pretoria West on Monday, reported the SABC.

Sheldean went missing from her home on February 18. Her body was found behind a fresh produce market.

On Monday night, Andrew Jordaan, 25, the man accused of kidnapping Sheldean, confessed to the murder.

Jordaan showed police where he dumped the body.

An autopsy will be conducted to establish the cause and time of death.

Jordaan will now also be charged with Sheldean's murder.
