The bare basics of racism?

Durban - Keep the only current South African nudist resort white, is the advice of nudist king Beau Brummel after his own nudist resort, Beau Valley, closed down three years ago.
Brummel's advice to Ben and Jane, owners of Jane's Jungle outside Mtunzini on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast, landed them in the soup with the Human Rights Commission. On Saturday nudism is being "officially introduced" to KwaZulu-Natal for the first time at the resort.
The commission last year grilled St. Lucia when non-whites were turned away. On Friday Ben and Jane received a fax from the commission enquiring after rumours of a "whites only" policy.
"The various races in South Africa don't even get along when they have their clothes on. How do you expect them to get along without their clothes?" asks Brummel, whose son is engaged to an Indian Durbanite.
Brummel believes Beau Valley in the Waterberg came to grief after 15 successful years because he opened the gates to all races.
His white customers cancelled their membership, says the former hero of comic strip adventures, who was once charged in terms of the Immorality Act when a pop group and their brown girlfriends visited him.
But he sticks to his guns: "Ben and his wife Jane should for at least the first year allow whites only to Jane's Jungle."
He sees a bright future on the cards for the resort. "Isn't it the ideal destination for the 30 million European and British nudists during the cold winters of the northern hemisphere", Brummel asks. He has already written to Sir Richard Branson of Virgin to tell him to bring the nudists to KwaZulu-Natal, he says.
About the controversial "whites only" statement, Ben, who prefers to keep his surname quiet for the moment, says they haven't even had brown couples visiting yet.
"Most people want to know if they can come without wifey," Ben says. But Jane's Jungle is no haven for swingers. It's a resort for the whole family. It is run like a club and one is welcome to pop in, on condition that you come as a couple and take off your clothes.
