"hooking up" with someone on the net strikes me as a revolting idea, you have no clue what that person has been up to (or into) in their life, and THEN to sleep with them on the first date with out a condom is just stupid. I must say that I am equally shocked but unfortunately not surprised. Besides the "modern" risk of AIDS/HIV there are still the standard old STD's lurking around, has everyone forgotten about those? The high number of teenage pregnancies I have seen lately are my personal worst. Probably the only explanation is that AIDS is still thought of as either a gay or black disease. Have no problem with women wanting to have sex on the first date, it's an individual choice and their perogative. In the age of sexual liberation, shouldn't women be able to have sex whenever they want without social stigma? Don't really think it's fair to be calling them slapper or whores. alrighty people. Some of you are seeing this in the complete wrong light. First of all having sex on the first date does not make you a slut. It means you have found a sense of deeper connection to that person and have gotten over last minute resistance. I personnally think its wonderful, however the condom situation is rediculous!!

I've had unprotected sex with women I've just met a few times. I am embarressed to admit that I even had condoms readily at hand. I guess the reason I did it is because I was doing it with friends of my lady friends who "needed to get laid" It worked for me, get a phone call, go over to a friends house, head to the guest room, sort her out - go home, no questions asked, no strings attached. Thing is, never mind moralising about sex on the first date, how about thinking about what it might mean if the person is willing to do the do without a condom on the first date - i.e. they've probably done it before. Many, many times. The people most likely to take stupid risks are also those most likely to be infected. Reason enough to stay well away.
