Picasso under hammer in Spain

Madrid - Two early works by the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, a portrait of a young girl and a cubist collage, are to be auctioned in Madrid next week.
The portrait, which experts believe may be of his sister Lola, was painted in Barcelona around 1900 and has a reserve price of $105 250.
Bidding for the cubist collage, an example of the synthetic cubist school and created in Paris in 1914, will start at $152 000.
The works will be sold at an auction scheduled to take place taking place on October 7-9 under the auspices of a Spanish bank.
