Los Angeles - Former pin-up Anna Nicole Smith had to be carried off stage at the American Music Awards after her slurred speech was cut short.
She reportedly arrived at the ceremony 10 minutes after it started and then appeared drunk on stage as she introduced rapper Kanye West's act.
According to the IMDb website, producers panicked when she began her babbling speech with the words "Like my body?"
After being led away from the podium she staggered around backstage, and two bodyguards had to help her stand up.
The reality TV star then fell onto the gift table with a grin on her face and had to be lifted up by an unknown man, other reports say.
Anna insists her current state of mind has been swayed by her recent weight loss and constant taunts about being stupid.
She said: "I liked me better bigger because now I'm too bony. I'm just portrayed as some bimbo, and never taken seriously." - Ananova.com
