Mel to film pope's story

Los Angeles - Mel Gibson is reportedly set to turn Pope John Paul II's story into a Hollywood movie.
The New York Post reports Gibson has already filmed the ending to the movie.
He also reportedly sent a production crew to Rome to film the pope's funeral.
Gibson last year enjoyed one of Hollywood's biggest box-office hits with The Passion of the Christ.
The film caused huge controversy, with Jewish leaders accusing the devoutly-Catholic Gibson of anti-Semitism by portraying Jews as responsible for Christ's death, a charge he denied.
The low-budget, graphically gory film raked in $370.2m in its North American run. - Ananova.com
