Liz Taylor 'sick for Cannes'

Cannes - Ailing American film diva Elizabeth Taylor will not be able to come to Cannes this year to preside over the film festival's annual Aids benefit gala as she has done in past years, said the festival's organisers on Friday.
The 73-year-old star would be replaced by two other high-glamour actresses, Sharon Stone and Liza Minelli.
The Aids gala was one of the festival's highlights, bringing together film stars with donors wealthy enough to afford entrance tickets ranging in price from $2 500 to $100 000.
Last year, the benefit, hosted by the British-born Taylor, took in more than $1m.
