Los Angeles - Singer Britney Spears put her private life on show, including the love story with her current husband, in the first part of the documentary Chaotic broadcast late on Tuesday on UPN cable television channel.
The 50-minute film, often shot with a hand-held camera by Britney herself, raises the curtain on the pop star's daily life while on tour in Britain, including her make-up and warm-up sessions and excerpts of the show itself.
But between the images of her work-filled routine, filmed before she met her husband, the loneliness shows through.
"Do you believe in marriage and engagement?" she asks her hairdresser, make-up artist, bodyguard and driver.
Wedded bliss?
When one of them puts the same question to her, Britney answers: "I don't believe in marriage. You know, I was married," referring to her wedding in Las Vegas to her childhood friend Jason Alexander last January.
Britney says she is looking for "someone kinda sweet and nice and that loves me a lot".
Then somebody new comes on scene: Kevin Federline, a 27-year-old dancer Britney meets one evening in Los Angeles. Asked his opinion on marriage, he responds: "I don't believe in it." He has just separated from his wife and two children.
"I talked about marriage after (being together) six days. I think I screwed up," Britney tells the camera.
Kevin and Britney ended up marrying in September. She is now an expectant mother, but that "happy end" will be seen in one of the upcoming segments of the documentary, which will be broadcast weekly until June 14.
Britney Spears, 23, made the top of the charts and the limelight in 1999 with Baby One More Time. Since then, she has sold more than 60 million music albums.
