Bangkok - Miss Canada, Natalie Glebova, was on Tuesday crowned Miss Universe 2005 in Bangkok.
The following is a list of the runners-up and other awards given at the pageant broadcast in 170 countries and watched by an estimated one billion people:
Miss Universe: Miss Canada, Natalie Glebova
First Runner-up: Miss Puerto Rico, Cynthia Olavarria
Second Runner-up: Miss Dominican Republic, Renata Sone
Third Runner-up: Miss Mexico, Laura Elizondo
Fourth Runner-up: Miss Venezuela, Monica Spear
Three special awards were also given:
Best National Dress: Miss Thailand, Chananporn Rosjan
Miss Photogenic: Miss Philippines, Gionna Cabrera
Miss Congeniality: Miss US Virgin Islands, Tricia Homer
