Los Angeles - Oscar winner Charlize Theron, 30, will soon claim her own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
The South African-born actress will be honoured at a ceremony on September 29, the event sponsors said on Thursday.
She'll receive star number 2291 for her roles in Monster - for which she won an Oscar for her portrayal of a man-killing prostitute, The Italian Job, The Cider House Rules, The Devil's Advocate, and other films.
She first appeared in the 1996 film Two Days in the Valley.
Theron has been tipped as a contender for another best actress award at next year's Academy Awards for her role in North Country.
The movie is based on the story of a monumental class-action lawsuit in 1989 that aimed to reshape gender politics in American industry.
Theron plays Josey Aimes, a mother of two who returns home to northern Minnesota to rebuild her life after fleeing an abusive husband.
