London - Scary scenes and even a spot of foul language have prompted censors in Britain to declare the new Harry Potter movie unsuitable for under-12s to watch alone.
Young fans of the teenage wizard will have to be accompanied by an adult if they want to see Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire when it is released in British cinemas next month.
The previous three Potter movies had all been given a PG rating by the British Board of Film Classification, enabling children of any age to watch without parents at their side.
On its website the board said on Friday that no scenes were ordered cut from the movie, it contains "moderate fantasy violence, threat and horror" - including a graveyard battle with a gang of hooded Death Eaters.
