Film festival line-up unveiled

Berlin - New movies by Irish director Neil Jordan and German-born Marc Forster, director of the hit Monster's Ball, are to feature in next month's Berlin Film Festival, organisers announced on Monday.
The movies are to be shown as part of the festival's panorama section, which celebrates the works by filmmakers aiming to come to grips with essentially contemporary issues.
In addition to Jordan's Breakfast on Pluto, starring Liam Neeson and Stephen Rea, panorama is also planning to premiere Foster's psychodrama Stay starring Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts.
More than half the films for the panorama section have been selected with the line-up also including movies from Indian director Buddhadep Dasgupta (Memories In The Mist), Japanese director Sabu (Dead Run) and 4:30, a Singapore-Japan production by director Royston Tan.
In addition, Chinese director Zhang Yuan's Little Red Flowers, Gradually from Iranian director Maziar Miri and Israeli director Udi Aloni's Forgiveness are to be shown as part of the panorama programme. - Sapa-dpa
