Oslo - A Norwegian court has sentenced three men for their role in the theft of Edvard Munch's masterpiece The Scream.
The men were sentenced to between four and eight years in prison on Tuesday.
The painting is still missing.
On August 22, 2004, two armed and hooded men stormed into the Munch Museum and held up a staff member at gunpoint as stunned tourists looked on.
They made off in a stolen car with The Scream and another of Munch's celebrated pieces, Madonna.
The fate of the two works remains a mystery despite an international search and a $315 000 reward for their recovery.
