Mumbai - Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has yet another besotted fan to deal with - this time it's his teenage co-star.
Debutante Jiah Khan, 19, told the Times of India newspaper she had fallen in love with Bachchan, 63, during the filming of Nishabd or Wordless.
In the film, being readied for a September release, Bachchan plays an ageing romantic who falls in love with a young woman.
Khan said she found Bachchan "immensely sexy" during a 20-day shoot for well-known director Ram Gopal Varma's film.
"I think I have fallen in love with Mr Bachchan. He is the most charming man I have ever met in my life," she told the paper.
One of India's most popular stars, Bachchan has acted in more than 150 movies over three decades.
Khan is vocal about her infatuation for a man she says has a great sense of humour: "He is everything that I wish for in a guy - intelligent, humorous, magnetic, protective."
But since Bachchan is married and a grandfather, Khan plans to hold back. She will stick to penning a letter.
"I had so many things to tell him, which I couldn't," says the budding actress. "Now I'm writing a letter to him expressing whatever I felt."
