Timberlake to host Espy awards 'More Shreks are coming!' Pirates plunders MTV awards Shrek sets record with $122m 'Austin Powers' to divorce

New York - Mike Myers will host the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, which will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on June 1.

This will be Myers' second time hosting the show.

The celeb-filled event is MTV's irreverent nod to the typical awards shows.

Award categories include best kiss, best villain and best comedic performance.

MTV said nominees would be announced in May.

Myers stars in the upcoming film The Love Guru.
