Los Angeles - Oasis have stolen Robbie Williams's drummer.
The band's previous percussionist Zak Starkey - son of former Beatle Ringo Starr - reportedly quit this week, but Oasis have wasted no time in finding a replacement in Chris Sharrock.
Liam and Noel Gallagher's decision to hire Chris, who has allegedly fallen out with the Angels singer about his decision to take a break from music, is sure to anger Robbie who whom they have a bitter rivalry.
A source said: "As everyone knows, Oasis and Robbie are far from friends, and this move is sure to infuriate Robbie.
"Chris is just desperate to play and at least now he will get some action with Oasis."
Trading barbed comments
Chris has been drumming for Robbie since 1997 and also lent his talents to singles There She Goes by The La's and on the novelty soccer anthem, Three Lions.
Noel and Liam have been feuding with Robbie since 2000 when guitarist Noel labelled the Feel singer "the fat dancer from Take That".
Robbie famously responded by calling the rocker a "mean-spirited dwarf" and challenging Liam - who is married to Robbie's ex-girlfriend Nicole Appleton - to a prize fight at that year's BRIT Awards.
The trio have been trading barbed comments ever since. - Bang Showbiz.com
