Rare Bond novels sold

Edinburgh - A set of James Bond novels once owned by the man who may have been the model for agent 007 has sold for £31 200 ($55 800).
The books came from the library of the late Sir Fitzroy Maclean, a soldier, diplomat and Conservative legislator who is widely thought to have inspired Ian Fleming's fictional spy.
The collection also included Maclean's passport issued in Moscow in 1938 and other memorabilia.
John Gilbert, who is working on a book about Fleming, bought it at Wednesday's auction in Edinburgh.
Fleming and Maclean were both educated at Eton, and Fleming was working as a reporter for Reuters in 1935 when Maclean was posted in Moscow.
