Charlie Sheen to tie the knot

Los Angeles - Actors Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards are being cast in the role of new parents. They are expecting their first child early next spring, a publicist said on Monday.

Sheen also has an 18-year-old daughter, Cassandra, from his first marriage.

He and Richards married in June 2002. They're co-starring in Scary Movie 3, which opens in the United States on October 24.

Sheen also appears in a new television series, Two and a Half Men.

Richards, 32, and Sheen, 38, met while shooting the independent film Good Advice in 2000. They began dating after she guest-starred on Sheen's former sitcom, Spin City.
