Prince to work at bank

London - Prince William is to undertake a work-experience placement with one of Britain's biggest banks, his Clarence House office announced on Monday.
The 23-year-old second in line to the throne will spend about three weeks shadowing bankers at HSBC, the world's second-largest bank, and also will visit other institutions, Clarence House said. Some of the time will be spent in HSBC's charity-services division.
William, who graduated from Scotland's St Andrews University in June, has said he plans to follow his younger brother Prince Harry to Sandhurst military academy.
Since graduation he has begun to undertake solo royal duties, including a trip to New Zealand. Clarence House announced in June that the prince would do three work-experience placements - joining a mountain-rescue team, working at an international financial institution and learning about land management on a country estate.
