Los Angeles - Justin Timberlake's mom Lynn Harless says she was devastated when her son and Britney Spears broke up.

"I still love her to death," Harless reportedly said.

"They (Justin and Britney) were together 10 of 11 years and had, from day one, that chemistry between them.

"She's a sweet girl. I just hate what she's going through now."

Timberlake, 25, fell for Spears, now 24 and pregnant with her second child with husband Kevin Federline, when they were preteens in The Mickey Mouse Club.

They broke up in 2002.

Timberlake is currently in a relationship with Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz. - Ananova.com
