Paparazzi spoil Kidman's break

Sydney - Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman has cut short a festive season holiday in her native Australia after calling in police to stop paparazzi harassing her and husband Keith Urban, a report said on Tuesday.
Sydney's Daily Telegraph reported Kidman and country music singer Urban jetted out of Sydney on Monday in a private jet after a row with paparazzi photographer Jamie Fawcett.
The newspaper said the couple were holidaying at Rosedale on the New South Wales South coast when Kidman became angry with Fawcett as he took photographs when their car pulled over to the side of the road.
Fawcett, who will face a Sydney court later this month over alleged involvement with a bugging device found at Kidman's home last year, told the newspaper the star rolled down the car window and shouted an obscenity at him.
He said Urban, who had taken a break from treatment for substance abuse in the United States to spend the end-of-year holidays with Kidman, tried to calm the actress.
"It was more her snapping than him," Fawcett said. "He appeared, in my view, to pull her back into the car."
Local police inspector Gary Megay told the newspaper that Urban and Kidman had been offered police protection.
"Those roads around Rosedale are very narrow and with paparazzi around we were just making sure everyone was safe," he said.
