  • Los Angeles - Pop superstar Britney Spears is facing legal action after reportedly firing her long-term manager Larry Rudolph last Friday.

Starpulse.com reports that Spears was "miffed" last week at Rudolph for forcing her to seek professional help for her troubles, which resulted in Spears checking into a rehabilitation clinic in California in February.

The 25-year-old was also seen mocking her manager's decision to send her to rehab in a bizarre video rant, which was posted on the internet at the weekend.

But now Spears could end up in court for reneging on the deal she had previously signed with Rudolph.

    'It's my time'

According to the X17-Online website, Britney chose one of their photographers to get her message out to the world.

Apparently Britney went for a tanning session in Bel Air with her cousin Allie, when Britney called for X17 photographer Sandro, to come in and videotape her message to the public.

She told him not to ask her questions but said, simply, "It's my time."

In the short 90-second speech, Britney not only lashes out at her management but also at the media in general.

She talks like an overexcited Californian teenager, and is dripping with sarcasm.

"I'm really, really shocked by how nice our world is. It's just so nice. Like oh my god.

    "Always believe everything you read."

She ends her bizarre video message by saying, "Some lady told me: 'Britney go to the light and see Jesus' and I thought: 'Oh my god, I'm going to do it.'"

She then starts to laugh and joke with the photographer before disappearing behind the curtain.
