Los Angeles - Penelope Cruz is dating rocker Lenny Kravitz, it has been reported.

The Volver beauty - who has been romantically linked to Orlando Bloom and Josh Hartnett this year - celebrated her 33rd birthday on April 28 with Kravitz at New York's Beatrice Inn.

She then continued to party at the rocker's TriBeCa apartment.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Penelope is due in Europe to do a fashion shoot for Mango clothing but she keeps postponing it to join Lenny on his tour. They've been friends for a long time."

A representative for Cruz said: "I don't comment on my client's personal life."

Cruz is the latest famous beauty to be romanced by Kravitz.

The rocker has previously dated Nicole Kidman - the ex-wife of Cruz's former lover Tom Cruise - Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia and Vanessa Paradis, who is now the long-term partner of Johnny Depp. - Bang Showbiz.com
