William, Kate on romantic trip

London - Britain's Prince William, 24, and his girlfriend Kate Middleton, 25, are spending a romantic holiday together on the Indian Ocean islands of the Seycelles, British media reports said on Saturday.
The Sun newspaper speculated that William might use the holiday on the exclusive small-island resort of Ile Desroches to propose to Kate now that the couple are firmly back together after a split in April.
The paradise island some 230km from the main Seychelles island of Mahe is one of the most remote and luxurious holiday resorts in the world.
The Sun claimed that the second in line to the British throne had rented out the whole Desroches Island Resort, the only hotel on the island, and its 20 apartments for a week.
"William was desperate to spend some quality time alone with Kate. The island is perfect as it is so private," the newspaper quoted a friend as saying.
"Normally it is full of honeymooning couples. But for them, the entire resort has been booked."
In order to lead reporters off the scent, William and Kate had left separately for the island last week, travelling via Mahe.
The news that the couple had split in April surprised many in Britain, but they were seen back together in public as a couple in July.
