Wilson's 'broken heart' to blame

Cape Town - Hollywood star Owen Wilson attempted suicide over his break-up with girlfriend Kate Hudson, The Sun reports.
According to an article in the British tabloid, Wilson's friends feared that his suicide bid was driven by pictures of actress Kate Hudson "canoodling with her new man".
Wilson was rushed to hospital on Sunday after his brother reportedly found him semi-unconscious at his Los Angeles home. He had apparently taken a pills overdose and slit his wrists.
According to The Sun, the drama came after Kate was pictured in US magazines cuddling and kissing in a Malibu supermarket with comic actor Dax Shepard.
'Deeply upset'
Although Wilson prompted the break-up with Kate after they argued about his wild party-loving ways, Wilson reportedly regrets doing so and is deeply upset about the split. He has not been seen dating anyone else since the break-up.
The pair met while filming You, Me and Dupree and had a six-month fling that ended Kate's marriage to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson.
In the meantime Wilson released a statement to celebrity website TMZ.com, asking to respect his privacy during "this difficult time":
"I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."
