Mills 'throws water at lawyer'
18/03/2008 12:22 - (SA)
London - Heather Mills, who has been granted a divorce from ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, was on Tuesday reported to have thrown water at her estranged husband's legal representative in court.
Mills, 40, on Monday won a divorce settlement of £24.3m from the musician.
But while McCartney remained tight-lipped about the deal, Mills accused his lawyer, Fiona Shackleton, publicly of insulting her and handling proceedings "in the worst possible manner".
Shackleton, one of Britain's top divorce lawyers, emerged from court on Monday looking distinctly bedraggled and with wet hair, while normally wearing a neat bob haircut.
According to reports on Tuesday, Mills told the BBC that Shackleton had been "baptised" in court.
But she refused to reveal who had thrown the water at the lawyer.
Mills was back at the High Court on Tuesday in an attempt to stop full publication of the divorce ruling, which McCartney has insisted on. - Sapa-dpa
