Los Angeles - A former bodyguard
for Lindsay Lohan has sued the actress, saying she owes him
more than $55 000 in pay and expenses for protecting her from
fans and paparazzi.
In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, David Kim
said he worked for the Freaky Friday star from October 2006
to March 2007.
Kim says he obtained VIP tables for Lohan at
clubs and concerts, tipped valet parkers, provided drivers and
kept fans and photographers away from her.
The lawsuit, filed late on Monday, names both Lohan and her
production company Crossheart Productions Inc and alleges
fraud, emotional distress and breach of oral contract.
Forced to resign
A representative for Lohan could not immediately be reached
for comment.
Kim said in the lawsuit he was forced to resign in March
2007 because Lohan would not pay him, claiming that she never
knew him or employed him.
Lohan, 21, spent much of 2007 making headlines for hard
partying in Los Angeles and elsewhere.
She did two stints in
rehab and served two hours in jail after pleading guilty to
drunken driving and cocaine possession charges.
