Madonna to get £12.5m payday

London - Madonna is set to earn a staggering £12.5m for two concerts.
The 4 Minutes singer is in talks to perform in Dubai in November as part of her forthcoming world tour for £7m and is also negotiating to sing at a party for a mystery businessman for a further £5m.
A source close to Madonna - who recently signed a £60m deal with entertainment promoter Live Nation Incorporated - is quoted by Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Madonna is about to break another record by playing the most lucrative concert of her whole career.
"The negotiations for the tour to stop in Dubai in November are being finalised and she will get £7.5m for one show only.
The figure is so big because of her new contract with Live Nation and the huge funds available from private promoters in Dubai.
Private party
"She is also close to agreeing to play a private party in Dubai, the first of her career."
Madonna was recently named the highest-earning woman in music.
The 49-year-old singer topped the first Cash Queens of Music list, compiled by Forbes.com, after raking in £36m between June 2006 and June 2007.
The Hung Up singer's personal fortune was boosted by her successful "Confessions Tour", which generated a staggering ?130m worldwide.
The mother-of-three also made earnings from working with high street fashion chain H&M, general record sales and her deal with US broadcaster NBC for the rights to air her concert from London's Wembley Arena. - Bang Showbiz.com
