Matt loved movie's 'butt kicks'

Los Angeles - Matthew McConaughey loved getting his "butt kicked" on his latest movie.
The 38-year-old actor admits he enjoyed being subjected to frequent beatings for his role in romantic adventure comedy Fool's Gold.
He said: "Fool's Gold isn't one of those movies where I get to be the white knight in shining armour and win the fights.
"I'm actually the screw up who gets his butt kicked a lot and has to get lucky to get the gold and get the girl.
"I must get my butt whupped at least seven or eight times in this movie. I really enjoyed it. It was different."
Matthew admits he found shooting the film's many underwater scenes tough.
He added to Bang Showbiz: "It's difficult to show emotion down there. There would be a point where I'm looking at a picture of my ex-wife and I'm supposed to love it but it makes me sad, and the only thing anyone can see is my eyes through my mask. You can give some mixed messages in that situation."
Fool's Gold sees Matthew take the role of Finn, who embarks on a quest to find buried treasure with his ex-wife Tess, played by Kate Hudson. - Bang Showbiz.com
