TV journalist wins CNN award

Cape Town - Cape Town based SABC journalist, Kim Cloete, has won a prestigious award at CNN's annual World Report award presentation in Atlanta in the United States.
Cloete's report on Aids orphans in Malawi was judged the winner in the category "Best Report on an Ongoing Issue".
She was competing against finalists from news networks in Lebanon, Switzerland and Kosovo who had submitted reports on the Middle East conflict, refugees in Kosovo and the war in Iraq.
The award was presented to Cloete by CNN executives at a ceremony in Atlanta on Friday night.
Journalists from news networks in 70 countries around the world contribute to CNN World Report which is broadcast daily on CNN.
