Cape Town - YMag will be part of the Nederburg Fashion week in Cape Town from August 20-24 at the newly constructed International Convention Centre.
"The event is dedicated to developing the fashion industry in South Africa by nurturing talent and exposing South African designers to an international audience," says Gavin Rajah, Fashion Week convener.
The YMag fashion show will showcase three of Mzantsi's hottest young design entrepreneurs on August 21 at 21:30.
The show will feature The Darkie Label by Themba Mngomezulu, Machere and Stoned Cherrie's designers conducted by Brand Originator and Popstars judge Nkhensani Mangani.
The three designers have been previously featured in Y Magazine and have showed great promise in designing collections that reflect the lifestyle aspects of the Y-brand.
Supermodel and the first Face of Africa winner Oluchi will be amongst the models taking part in the show. Yfm DJ Bad Boy T and Bongo Muffin group member Stoan will also grace the catwalk as models.
YMag Fashion Show will be supported by Yfm radio personalities and the music will be scored by DJ Oskido. The Harambe show with Bad Boy T, Lee and Sanza will broadcast live from Cape Town during the week and at the prior to the show.
Rudeboy Paul will also appear at the show as well as the private
afterparty.
