A-list stars coming to SA

Abigail Isaacs, Die Burger
Cape Town - Salma Hayek, Colin Farrell and Donald Sutherland are the latest in a string of Hollywood superstars expected in Cape Town.
These stars are due in the Mother City around mid-year when the filming of Ask the Dust starts.
It is believed a rugby field at a local school will be turned into 1930's Los Angeles.
Hollywood heart-throb Tom Cruise is one of the producers of the movie, which is based on John Fante's 1939 novel.
Director Robert Towne has tried for 30 years to get the story filmed. Towne has numerous movies to his credit, including the hugely successful Mission Impossible.
According to Philip Key, executive producer of Moonlighting Film, the arrival of A-list actors was a good sign for the local film production industry.
