Johannesburg - Members of Tweak, the Johannesburg punk group that has hundreds of young people across the country rocking, have decided to continue their careers overseas.
The bandmembers are moving to London "permanently" next month and plan to stay there as long as their careers allow, Nancy Hillary, manager of the group, said.
The group recently returned from a European tour where it performed successfully in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Tweak is known for hits such as Birthday Card and House Party and has released three albums.
"They have a number of concerts set up in Europe and England and it therefore makes sense for them to stay there," Hillary said.
The group will embark on a final South African tour this month.
"We look forward to going back," Bugsy Barnes, 19, drummer, said. "We get very good feedback and sell quite a lot of albums at these shows.
"It is nice to hear after a show in another country that people play your CD in their cars."
