Black Mambazo hot for Grammy

Cape Town - South African singing group Ladysmith Black Mambazo are among the favourites for the 2006 Grammy music awards.
The nominations for the 48th Grammy Awards were announced at a party in New York on Thursday morning.
Ladysmith Black Mambazo and The Strings of the English Chamber Orchestra's album, No Boundaries were named in the category for best contemporary world music album (vocal and instrumental).
Mariah Carey's The Emancipation of Mimi, Paul McCartney's Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, Gwen Stefani's Love.Angel.Music.Baby., U2's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and Kanye West's Late Registration are nominations in the category album of the year.
Ciara, Fall Out Boy, Keane, John Legend and Sugarland were nominated in the category for best new artist.
Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Gwen Stefani were nominated in the category for best solo, while Jack Johnson, Paul McCartney, Seal, Rob Thomas and Stevie Wonder were named in the category for best male artist.
