SA film nominated for Bafta

Johannesburg - The Truth and Reconciliation Commission drama, Red Dust, has been nominated for the British Academy Television Awards in the category of Best Single Drama, co-producing company VideoVision said on Tuesday.
Red Dust was the first South African film to be nominated for this award, spokesperson Nilesh Singh said.
"Also nominated in the same category are the British films, The Government Inspector, Much Ado About Nothing and The Queen's Sister."
The awards are run under the auspices of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) and the awards ceremony would be held on Sunday, May 7 in London.
Red Dust has already won the Audience Prize in Miami and the Special Jury Award and the Silver Peacock at the 36th International Film Festival of India.
